Client: A U.S. Auto Manufacturer
A U.S. auto manufacturer was served with a multi-million dollar lawsuit for an alleged defect in its product. The plaintiff contended that he had been severely disabled by an auto accident resulting in his inability to practice his profession.
Gladding & Michel collaborated with the defense, which had constructed its case over a two year period. The Plaintiff’s case started to collapse when our investigators located a photograph of the plaintiff posing with an animal he shot and brought down with a bow and arrow. While the case was in trial, we located additional proof of the plaintiff’s hunting activities that took place at exotic game ranches in Texas and California. The jury returned a verdict exonerating our client.
